ITINERARY
DAY 1: HO CHI MINH - FLIGHT TO SIEM REAP ARRIVAL (-/-) - NO GUIDE
At the scheduled time, transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your departure flight.
After completing boarding procedures, bid farewell to Vietnam as you continue your journey to your next destination.
Upon arrival at Siem Reap Angkor International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver at the arrivals gate.
From there, enjoy a comfortable private transfer to your hotel, passing through the quiet outskirts of Siem Reap while getting your first impressions of this charming city, the gateway to Angkor.
Upon arrival at the hotel, check-in and have time to rest and freshen up. (Standard check-in time is from 14:00).
DAY 2: SIEM REAP - FULL DAY ANGKOR TOUR (B)
Breakfast at the hotel. Then, visit the ancient capital of Angkor Thom (12th century): the South Gate, with its impressive statues depicting the churning of the ocean of milk, and the Bayon Temple, famous for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of Avalokitesvara.
Continue to the Phimeanakas temple, the Royal Enclosure, the Elephant Terrace, and the Leper King Terrace.
Later, visit the most iconic of all temples in the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. This majestic complex covers an area of 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are depicted on the Cambodian flag, and this 12th-century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the pinnacle of classical Khmer art and architecture.
In the afternoon, visit Ta Prohm, one of the most beautiful temples in the region. This temple has remained largely untouched since its discovery, preserving its mysterious and fascinating atmosphere.
After the visit, if time and energy permit, a stop will be made at the Old Market to purchase souvenirs for family and friends.
DAY 3: SIEM REAP - BANTEAY SREI - KAMPONG PHLUK FLOATING VILLAGE (B)
After breakfast, visit the Banteay Srei temple ("citadel of women"), considered an authentic jewel of classical Khmer art.
Next, visit the Banteay Samré temple, built in the third quarter of the 12th century. This complex consists of a central sanctuary accompanied by two wing-shaped libraries and a front and rear hall, constituting an excellent example of the southern architecture of the era.
In the afternoon, transfer to Kampong Phluk, located about 22 km southeast of Siem Reap. This is an ideal place to discover life in a lakeside village.
Kampong Phluk is accessible only by boat and offers an authentic view of the lifestyle on Tonle Sap Lake. It is a small village whose economy is mainly based on fishing and related activities.
The houses are built on stilts up to 10 meters high, and the environment is surrounded by a flooded forest, creating a unique and fascinating landscape.
DAY 4: SIEM REAP DEPARTURE (B) - NO GUIDE
Breakfast at the hotel. Free time until your transfer to Siem Reap Airport for your departure flight (without guide).
Hotel check-out time: 12:00 noon.
