Empowering Edu-tainment tours with responsible experiences in Vietnam

What are edutainment tours?
Edu-tainment Tour is our specialized calling between Education & Entertainment. Instead of traditional classroom settings, students engage with the real world through interactive activities.
At 365 Travel, we believe that blending travel with hands-on learning in a “play-to-learn” environment, ensuring every journey serves as a bridge between global curiosity and local impact.
365 Travel’s edutainment tours in April 2026
As a leading DMC in Vietnam with 20 years of experience, 365 Travel is proud to have successfully delivered educational programs for students from schools around the world such as New Zealand, US, UK…. come to Vietnam and Cambodia. Our school group tour combine education and entertainment, focusing on deepening participants’ understanding of local traditions, arts, history, and cuisine through hands-on activities and interactions with local communities. These experiences are enjoyable and highly educational, providing clients with meaningful experiences that positively impact the local community. Participants can visit nonprofit conservation projects, teach English at local schools, help care for rescued wildlife, and learn about global conservation efforts. We are confident that these activities promote responsible travel and support local communities at every destination.

And in this remarkable April, we are so happy to have hosted four tours in Vietnam for 104 students and escorting teachers from New Zealand schools, including: Te Aratai College, Garin College, Hastings Christian School, and Nelson College for Girls.
What makes our edutainment tours memorable?
Community engagements

Our Edutainment Tours are built on in-depth historical exploration, hands-on activities, personalized itineraries, and community engagement which is the true soul of 365 Travel. This was not only just a segment of the trip but also the most profound highlight.
In collaboration with a prestigious NGO in Hue, ranked among Vietnam’s top 12, we focus on community development through education and direct support. This April, we successfully launched four community volunteer projects across two local communes.

Our mission took us to the heart of rural Hue, visiting three primary schools (36 classes) and one secondary school (14 classes). These are local public schools where facilities remain limited, and students rarely have the chance to practice English with native speakers. Through these activities, we aim to improve English skills, promote cultural exchange, and motivate students’ learning. We didn’t just visit; we came to bridge the gap.

The beauty of these tours was found in the smiles of local children during English lessons, storytelling sessions, and outdoor games with students. Each school visit was a chapter of kindness:

+) April 3rd: 31 students and teachers from Te Aratai College sparked a love for learning at Quang Thai Primary School, providing English lessons and essential school supplies.
+) April 6th: 30 students and teachers from Garin College brought vibrant energy to Huong Van Primary School, focusing on cultural exchange and motivating local pupils to dream bigger.
+) April 8th: 19 students and teachers from Hastings Christian School delivered heartwarming lessons and donated much-needed stationery to the children of Huong Toan Primary School.
+) April 13th: 32 students from Nelson College for Girls visited Nguyen Huu Da Secondary School, creating a powerful space for cultural dialogue and academic inspiration.

Besides supporting local schools, we organized a series of volunteer activities aimed at supporting disadvantaged communities. The program focuses on improving living conditions, providing educational support, and fostering cultural exchange.
Authentic experiences across Vietnam
Beyond these meaningful community projects, the students embarked on an immersive 11 to 15-day journey from North to South, discovering the vibrant heartbeat of Vietnam. While they visited iconic highlights like Hanoi, Ha Long Bay, Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi Tunnels, and Mekong Delta, the true authenticity lay in the hands-on experiences that allowed them to live like locals.

Our commitment to edutainment tours
Success in educational travel isn’t measured just by the itinerary, but by the safety and smiles of every student on the journey.
Managing 104 students across the diverse landscapes of Vietnam is not easy. It means our operation team always has to double-check any details from weather forecasts and accommodation standards to the accessibility of every destination on the schedule.

Take the hot summer of Central Vietnam, for example. The heat can be unforgiving, and heat stroke is a very real challenge we face. But our experienced operations team is always one step ahead. Long before the students feel the thirst, our team has already staged extra water stations for constant refills and prepared electrolyte supplements to proactively keep everyone’s energy up.

Then, there are the more “unexpected” moments. Our international students often fall so deeply in love with Vietnamese cuisine that they simply can’t stop eating! We’ve seen many cases of “happy overeating” where the food is so delicious that students end up with a bit of a stomachache. Anticipating this, our guides always carry a supply of digestive aids and medicine, ensuring a quick recovery so the students can get right back to the fun.
It is these small, thoughtful actions that transform a trip into a truly seamless experience. Sharing his perspective on this “duty of care,” Mike Bui, our Operations Manager, said: “Safety is our top priority for every Edu-tainment tour. We focus on every detail to ensure students have a safe and wonderful journey, leaving them with a beautiful lasting impression of Vietnam.”
But safety and logistics are only half of the story. The other half is the purpose behind every activity brought to life by Linda Hoang, our educational travel expert.
As the architect behind our most successful programs, Linda has dedicated years to crafting experiences that go far beyond standard tourism. For her, the “Educational” part of a tour is found in the lessons of cross-cultural understanding and the journey of becoming a global citizen.
Impact that 365 Travel gains in Edutainment Tours 2026
Beyond the lessons, the program also delivered practical support. Each local student received essential school supplies and stationery. While these gifts are simple, their meaning is immense, acting as a heartfelt encouragement for the children to keep striving in their studies.
A representative from the local NGO in Hue shared: “The presence of these international student groups has brought a vibrant and inspiring multicultural exchange to the children of Hue. Throughout the activities, the New Zealand students didn’t just teach; they shared their hearts and their culture. For our rural students, this was a rare and precious opportunity to experience an international learning environment.”
365 Travel would like to express our deepest gratitude to our dedicated partners in Hue, the teachers and students from New Zealand, and our beloved collaborators who walked alongside us in these meaningful volunteer activities. Together, we have created more than just a tour; we have left a lasting positive footprint.
