Ha Long Bay is set to host the “Art for Climate – Ha Long Bay 2025” festival from January 13 to 19, 2025, with a key message focused on nature preservation and environmental protection. This important event is expected to draw around 80,000 attendees from all over the world, including influential figures like artists, policymakers, and environmental activists. Notably, over 200 billionaires from Europe and Asia will be attending, arriving on superyachts, which further highlights Ha Long’s growing reputation as a top destination for major global events.

The “Art for Climate – Ha Long Bay 2025” Festival will take place from January 13 to 19, 2025, on the beaches and islands in the Ha Long Bay, organized by Arsuprema, the French organization behind the “Art for Climate” initiative.

The festival will feature various artistic activities such as exhibitions, performances, and discussions focused on environmental issues and climate change.

The goal of the festival is not only to promote art but also to send an important message about protecting the environment. Olivier Brochet, the French Ambassador to Vietnam, stated that the festival combines art with responsibility to protect the earth, aiming to raise community awareness about the challenges our planet is facing.

Additionally, Ha Long has successfully welcomed thousands of international visitors each year. According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, in 2024, Ha Long received a total of 42 international cruise ships, bringing over 50,000 guests from various nationalities. In October of the same year, Ha Long welcomed its three millionth international visitor, comprising about 900 visitors from the United States aboard the Viking Orion on its Asia route. Furthermore, Ha Long had the honor of hosting nearly 3,500 Italian guests on the Costa Serena, marking their first visit to Ha Long.
