After lunch at a local restaurant, explore Zo Project, a space dedicated to preserving the ancient craft of dó paper making. Join a hands-on activity that supports artisans and keeps the craft alive. Later, enjoy a drink at Hidden Gem Café, built from recycled materials, an inspiring example of sustainable design.

HANOI VILLAGES – OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA
Continue to Chuong village, the birthplace of Vietnam’s iconic conical hat. Watch how women skillfully weave palm leaves and bamboo into nón lá, symbols of grace and daily utility. After a simple but delicious village-style lunch, head to Van Phuc silk village, where shimmering threads have been woven for generations. Here, visit Vun Art, a social enterprise turning discarded silk scraps into meaningful fabric paintings. This initiative not only preserves tradition but also empowers people with disabilities through creative work.
In the evening, transfer to Hanoi Railway Station and board the overnight train to Sapa. Traveling by train is not only comfortable but also a more sustainable alternative to long road journeys.

SAPA – Y LINH HO – LAO CHAI – TA VAN
Stop for lunch at a local H’Mong restaurant before walking on to Lao Chai. Visit a Black H’Mong household to learn about daily life, including traditional indigo dyeing and hemp weaving. Trek further to Ta Van village, where you stay overnight in a family-run homestay. Dinner is shared with the host family, offering warmth, hospitality, and authentic cultural exchange.

TA VAN – BAMBOO FOREST – GIANG TA CHAI – OVERNIGHT TRAIN TO HANOI
In the afternoon, return to Sapa by car. You’ll have time to freshen up before transferring to Lao Cai railway station to board the overnight train back to Hanoi, traveling comfortably while reducing your carbon footprint.

HANOI - VAN LONG
After lunch, take a cycling tour through nearby villages, passing rice paddies and vegetable gardens. Stop along the way to meet locals tending their fields, weaving mats, or making rice wine. This is an opportunity to witness daily rural life in Vietnam, where tradition and simplicity define the rhythm of the day. In the evening, check in to a local guesthouse or eco-lodge in Van Long. Far from the city noise, you’ll enjoy a quiet night surrounded by nature’s calm.

VAN LONG – CUC PHUONG NATIONAL PARK
Arrive in Cuc Phuong for lunch, then begin exploring its important conservation centers. The Endangered Primate Rescue Center, a pioneering facility that protects langurs, gibbons, and other rare species, followed by the Turtle Conservation Center and a unique program dedicated to the elusive pangolin and Carnivore and Pangolin Conservation Program. These important initiatives rescue and rehabilitate wildlife from the illegal trade, offering a chance to learn about Vietnam’s conservation efforts.
Through these visits, you will witness Vietnam’s strong efforts in wildlife protection and learn how responsible tourism can contribute to conservation.

CUC PHUONG - PU LUONG
After lunch, embark on an adventurous 10-kilometer off-road trek. The trail leads you across streams and hills into the hidden valley of Kho Muong, where stilt houses rest quietly among terraced fields. Explore the massive Bat Cave, an underground wonder with fascinating limestone formations. Continue your trek toward Bang village, a remote community offering sweeping views of endless rice terraces and tranquil landscapes. By late afternoon, return to your lodge for a well-deserved rest.

PU LUONG - FULL DAY TREKKING
Midday, rest and refresh beside the cool streams of Hieu Waterfall, followed by a simple yet delightful lunch. In the afternoon, discover the largest waterfall in Pu Luong, where cascading waters invite you for a swim or quiet relaxation. Then transfer by bus to the riverside for a bamboo rafting experience. Glide gently along the water on handmade rafts guided by locals, a peaceful and authentic way to discover the charm of Pu Luong. After this unique adventure, return to the lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
