Half Day Yangon - Take Flight To Inle Lake By 15:30-16:40 (B/L)

What’s the secret hidden behind the gilded Shwedagon Pagoda that dominates the Yangon skyline? During this half day trip, we will open the door and show you that mystery, uncover its full history with a deep insight into the Buddhist religion of the country and how it influences on the life of Burmese people. You also learn how the spiritual belief is mixed with the belief in nats– the Myanmar spirits.

Morning after breakfast, meet our guide and car then transfer to the place where the monks are walking in line to collect alms from local residents. Let’s wait for them passing by and offer them some food for the day. Afterwards, drive to the foot of the hill where the Shwedagon is situated atop, passing the workshops, markets and monasteries which will be useful or even essential to understand more of the country during the rest of your journey. Considered the most sacred Buddhist pagoda in Myanmar, it is believed to house relics of the four previous Buddhas, including eight strands of hair of Gautama. Walk around the 2,500-year-old pagoda, listen to its interesting facts and legends through your guide, see local devotees and monks washing the statues, offering flowers, kneeling and praying, admire its many beautiful stupas, Buddha statues… or just tell your guide your birthday, he will take you to the shrine where you can perform the ritual of pouring water over the Buddha statue that represents the day you were born. Afterwards, pay a visit to a fortuneteller who lives in the pagoda complex, followed by a Burmese lunch.

In the afternoon, transfer to airport for flight to Heho. Upon arrival our guide will pick up to hotel in Inle Lake. Check in hotel and free at leisure.

Full Day Inle Lake (B/L)

Inle Lake, the second largest freshwater lake in Myanmar at 22km length and 10-meter width, is the main life source for communities in the Shan plateau region. Surrounded by hills and mountains, the lake is renowned for its hydroponic floating gardens and local fishermen practicing a one-leg rowing style.

Morning, get on a private motorboat for a full day exploring the lake. Discover its natural beauty, visit the floating gardens, see some of the famous leg rowers, and have a cup of tea at a local family’s house. Around the lake area, a local market serving most common daily needs is held in different villages on a 5-day rotating schedule. You will call on to this market frequented by Shan and PaO people to explore the local’s daily life. Up next, stop by a local cheroot factory where the Burmese cigars are made, cruise through floating tomato gardens, explore Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda which houses five gilded Buddha images and finally see Inthar Heritage House where the Burmese cats are bred - and if wanted, pay a visit at a weaving factory.=

Inle Lake To Bagan By Flight 10:20-11:00 - Half Day Bagan Tour (B/L)

Morning, have breakfast at hotel then free at leisure until transfer to airport for the flight to Bagan. Upon arrival, our guide will pick up then transfer to check in hotel and have half day city tour in Bagan. Home to more than 2,000 temple and pagoda ruins dating back from the 11th to the 13th centuries, Bagan was the center of the Pagan Kingdom, the first kingdom to unify regions that would later form modern Myanmar. Across 42 square km of the country, ruins of thousands of stupas, temples and monasteries can be seen in every direction, some soaring into the sky while other standing silently at a corner. The meandering Irrawaddy River completes that majestic scene. 

During this half-day tour, your guide will show you some of the most spectacular sceneries of ancient temples. The best of all is that you can stop any time, any minute to make some beautiful pictures. around 16.00 pm we continue the tour by horse cart to Pyathetgyi Pagoda for sunset with some refreshing drinks served.

Half Day Bagan Then Take By Back To Yangon By 17:05-18:25 (B/L)
Meals:

Morning, have breakfast at hotel then meet our driver at 8:00am to take a 48km drive south east of Bagan. Along the way you will have the opportunity to take in the picturesque scenery.

Arrive at Mt. Popa, start to climb 777 steps up to the top of the extinct volcanic mountain which is 1518 meters high. Mount Popa is perhaps best known as a pilgrimage site with numerous Nat temples and relic sites atop the mountain. The hike up also offers some beautiful sights such as flowers blooming, wildlife spotting such as monkeys, birds, and butterflies. In addition, you can see old monasteries, shrines and places of worship built into the mountain. Once you hit the top, you can enjoy the panoramic view of the entire region.

In the afternoon, transfer back to Bagan for fight back to Yangon and connect one more your departure flight.
